Grain Traders Los Angeles has launched its Vegan Snow Ice dessert in mid-May. The product comes in three different flavors: cacao almond, pandan and coconut, plus passion fruit and mango. The coconut flavored product does not have any added sugar; it only has some amount of banana. The other two flavored products contain some maple sugar in the form of a sweetener. Gluten-free almond brownies and sweet corn cake, plus homemade seed granola, and granola with mixed nuts are the toppings.

Rapper cum actor E-40 and TV personality cum chef Matty Matheson would host FAMILY STYLE TO-Go, a virtual food festival. The virtual event would stream on NTWRK from May 19 to 20, 2021, and it would have cooking demos, exclusive product releases, and curated tasting spaces.

The restaurants that participate in the event include Wexler’s Deli as well as Uncle Paulie’s. In the event, chefs Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook would reproduce the dish Baked Feta Cheese Pasta, which went viral earlier in 2021 on TikTok. The dish would be on offer as a limited-period product at the Brentwood and Fairfax locations of Jon & Vinny’s restaurant. The Independent Hospitality Coalition would receive a part of the money earned from the event’s programming. Somewhere Else – The Spare Room is now open, and it serves cocktails, plus small plates of its versions of burrata, hamachi crudo, beef tartare, and mushroom sott’olio. On the other hand, Fred Segal from Santa Monica has announced its temporary residency and restaurant programming at the company’s Malibu location. Malibu Village will host Fred Segal’s 60th Anniversary celebration ‘Summer of Love’ until July 18, 2021, according to reliable sources.

As part of the 10-week-long programming, brand Fred Segal said that Heal the Bay would get some of the money earned from it as a donation.

On the other hand, Casa Vega restaurant is launching the so-called ‘culinary capsule’, an offering with ‘The Chainsmokers’ duo as its partner. The popular song ‘Something Just Like This’ has inspired the offering. It looks to raise funds through ‘No Us Without You’ for hospitality employees affected in the epidemic period.

Available throughout May 2021, the offering comprises a taco and a margarita as its menu elements. The name of The Chainsmokers is in many of the products that come as part of the offering.
