The first episode of the latest season of the Postmates series entitled ‘The Receipt’ will be out on October 24, 2021. The new season features Issa Rae, who is an author, producer and actor as well as the Hilltop Coffee and Kitchen owner. Postmates offered the audience a glimpse of Rae’s order history before the weekend show premiers.
The actor told LA Weekly that breakfast is her favorite meal and that she could have it for the remaining part of her life. Breakfast is important for Rae because she wakes up earlier than usual.
It is no wonder, then, that Rae placed 693 breakfast orders through Postmates since 2016. Up to 48 of her recent Postmates orders concerned Caribbean cuisine. Inglewood is her favorite US neighborhood to buy food from, and vegan-friendly ice cream is the comfort food item that she regularly seeks. She ordered the ice cream product when the world observed a lockdown in March last year.
While Rae mainly checks out vegan-flavored ice cream, she has a strong desire for any peanut butter, birthday cake or cookie dough product. Rae is one of the biggest fans and owners of the Los Angeles-based Hilltop Coffee and Kitchen. She made over 50 orders from the location in Los Angeles.
Rising early and having a considerable breakfast option, such as Café Vida’s Brown Rice Pancakes and Turkey Burger Scramble, helps Rae to get a lot done. On December 24, Rae does not take a ham piece out of her oven, unlike many other people. On December 24, 2020, she had Natalee Thai’s Thailand-style food. Her usual order comprises Thai barbecue chicken with a broccoli side dish.
Rae regards Inglewood’s Rusty Pot Cafe as the location with the best combination of waffles and chicken in Los Angeles. After a night without sleep, Rae usually orders pasta. She told LA Weekly that she would order four different forms of pasta at the least. As per her recent order history, it appears that the Culver City-based Pasta Sisters location’s pesto pasta is her go-to product in this category.
Rae also treats her crew with special items. For instance, in September 2021, she had eight prosecco bottles delivered for a special day in the life of one of her friends. It is easy to eat like Rae, which is especially true about a dessert product such as Ube Cheesecake at B Sweet Dessert Bar. Ube Cheesecake is what she likes most as a dessert item.
