Los Angeles Restaurants and food, new show on Discovery

Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco is a show about actor and stand up comic Maniscalco’s love for comedy and food that explores the world of cooking. In it, Maniscalco explores food culture with his family and friends, as well as some of Los Angeles’s most iconic mixologists and chefs. In the show, Maniscalco spends time preparing and discussing food with three famous chefs: Michael Cimarusti, Sherry Yard and Helene An. For your information, Maniscalco is also known for his mobster character in Martin Scorsese’s film entitled ‘The Irishman’.

The show’s new season premieres on August 12, 2021, on the Discovery+ platform, with the first three episodes. For your information, the other episodes of the series will come out every Thursday over the four weeks after the premiere day.

In the series, Maniscalco and his crew embark on a 3-hour voyage with Providence Restaurant owner and seasoned fisherman Michael Cimarusti. They all spent their time on the side of a ship, but Cimarusti stated that it was a blast.

Cimarusti told LA Weekly that Maniscalco did not quite find his balance when walking on that moving ship and that it became obvious around the time they left the harbor. Cimarusti also stated that Maniscalco would have gone back if he wanted to do so but for the producers. Maniscalco regained consciousness when he returned to dry land, said Cimarusti, and was back in his element thereafter.
